Well, Here I am again!! I'm sitting at a blank computer screen and I don't know what to even type. Since the last appointment/update, we went home for 2 weeks (Wisconsin), I saw my midwife in Wisconsin with mom, we've had an appointment in Oklahoma City, AND an appointment here in town. SOOO I'll try my best to keep it short, sweet, and to the point...but ya'll know me! I ramble....but I'll TRY not too!!! :)

July 14, 2001-- HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO US!!!

July 17, 2001--Had an appointment here in town at 9:40am. All we did was get my vital signs, listened to the heart beat, and answered any questions I had. It's getting to be a scheduled thing now that that's all we seem to do every appointment here. Oh well!!

July 27, 2001--I worked from 3pm-11pm. About 4pm I started getting cramps on my right side of my tummy. I'm trying not to freak out but I could barely stand up right. At 7pm I decided that if the pain keeps up until 8pm I was going to call my manager and tell her she had to come in cuz I was going to go to the hospital. At 8pm the pain stopped...but then at 8:45pm it started up again. I only had to work until 11pm so I was going to hold out until the next person came into releave me. At 11, I called TJ and told him I needed to go to the hospital. Go to the hospital and was there for 4 hours!! We didn't get home til about 3am. They monitored the baby's HB and everything was fine with baby. The pain was a urinary tract infection. SOO Robin has to drink more H20 and go to the potty WHENEVER she has to go! :) The nurse gave me some antibiotics (sp??) and told me to come back on Tuesday at 9am to see the doctor. Well....we leave on Sunday for Wisconsin for 2 weeks so we'll see if I'm here on Tuesday!! HA HA HA! :)

July 29, 2001--I worked until 3pm and we then head out of Oklahoma to Wisconsin!! I"M SO EXCITED! See you when we get back!!!

August 12, 2001--Back from Wisconsin and MAN OH MAN What a trip!! We went to my sister-in-laws wedding. It was nice! It all took place in her and her new husbands front yard. (big yard) The ceremony was hot but after we got under a tent and got some food in our systems, everything was good. I think I gained a couple pounds at his families house!! LOL It was soooooooooooo nice to see everyone again. TJ's mom and dad, sister's, their families, his grandma and grandpa, and his Aunt came up from Flordia came up with her new husband for the wedding. It was SOOOOOO nice to see everyone again.

Then we headed back to my families house for about 5 days. Mom and I went shopping to "bring back an outfit" (lol--long story) and walked out with lots of fun new clothes. All of the summer clothes were on sale since the weather in Wisconsin gets a lot cooler a lot faster than Oklahoma. I admit it...I was spoiled!! :) Mom wanted to stop at Carters too...So I couldn't complain! :-) The day after we went shopping, my aunts had a baby shower for us. It was SOO nice to see everone again and in such short notice. (I guess my family is good at getting everyone together on such short notice for me! :) ) Since we drove up, we had plenty of room in the car to pack everything. It was such a nice shower that I didn't even expect!! This baby is so spoiled already.

Mom and I went to my mid-wife that helped with my surgery back in '99. While we were waiting for the doctor to come in, I kept feeling the baby move at a rate that seemed she had the hick-ups. I told mom, and she grabbed the stethiscope (sp) and listened. She could hear the little hick-ups. A total Kodak moment that we didn't have a camera for..:( I was glad that mom could share that moment with me.

We started heading back to Oklahoma on Saturday the 11th about 7:30pm and got back into town at 11am on Sunday morning the 12th. When we were driving back down here, I thought I would be exhausted...but I got home and was ready to set up all of the baby things in the extra room!! LOL So I did that for awhile and TJ and I went to a movie! :)

In a nutshell that was our vacation. It was soooooooo nice to get home and see everyone again and I can't wait to do it again. Mom plans on coming down the moment she gets a phone call! :) I can't wait for that too!!!!

August 17, 2001--Went up to Oklahoma City today and everything went really well. My tummy has gotten a LOT bigger than I was before we left for Wisconsin about 3 weeks ago. The doctor (again) said that we're having a girl (!!) and her head is down already. I've been feeling her kick so much lately that I'm in the bathroom at LEAST every hour!! The doctor also said that she's growing right on schedule. HB was 136 and she weighs 1lb 4oz so far. Baby is in the right uterus and she's gotten so big that the doctor couldn't see my left uterus. This is normal with a didelphic uterus! :) SOOO since she's growing right on schedule, he wants to see me in 6 weeks! :) (usually it's every 4!)

August 23, 2001--Had an appointment today at 11am. I showed up at 10:50 and the lady said that my appointment wasn't until 1:15pm. (I could have sworn that I wrote down 11am right after the lady told me what time I should have come in....) So I show up again at 1pm and there was another lady there. She tells me that the doctor was at lunch and my appointment was supposed to be at 11am. GRRRRRRRRRR I felt like screaming. I told her what happened and she paged the doctor. Finally I got in at about 2:00. In the OB clinic here in town, there are 5 doctors. Before this appointment I've seen 2 of them. At this one, there was a new one! (one that I haven't had before) SO he went over all of my info with me and I've gained 9lbs so far. He said that the baby was a good size and maybe big at this time. He also said that since I'm such a high risk for early labor, he wants me to start coming in every other week. He again told me the things to look for in case I am in preterm labor. He said that if my contractions get to 5 minutes apart, I should get to labor and delivery (ASAP! LOL).

September 4, 2001-- I was going to tell you a cute story....

I was laying in bed last night and baby was kicking like crazy. She's getting big too!! She was moving right up by my ribs (in the middle of them) so I push a little in the middle where she's kicking with my hand and then I feel her moving down at the bottom of my tummy. I leave one hand on the top, and then move the other one on the bottom. She keeps moving both places...so I put both hands on the top. One on each side of her...leg? arm? foot? I dunno what it was yet but every time she moved it, I could move my hands right along with her having one of my fingers on each side of her leg? arm? foot? body. I loved it so much I started to giggle. After that she moved so I couldn't feel that same body part. It was SOOOOO cool!! :) A really cool bonding experience. Oh, and She's also found my ribs. It's like a little shock where she's kicking on those couple ribs. Feels weird, but again, SOOOO cool!!

September 6, 2001-- Had an appointment here in town. Went in and the doc was going to be awhile cuz she was delivering a baby (AWW!!!). So a half hour later, I got in and saw the PA student. Everytime I go to the doctor here in town, there is a PA student with the doc, doing my vitals, and in the room no matter what. It doesn't really bother me but I just hope a DOCTOR delivers my baby!! LOL So, I lost 1 lb. from two weeks ago, and my blood pressure is fine, everything looks good. Baby's HB was in 150's today and sounds really good and healthy. I'm to go back in 2 more weeks and see the doctor I was suppose to see today! (lol)

September 21, 2001--Was supposed to see the doc today but he scheduled a sergery instead! SO I'll update you next week after I see them again! Go to OKC on Monday. Yipee!!

September 24, 2001-- Went to OKC this morning. Baby's breech right now. She sure does like to flip around! I think she'll be in gymnastics!! hehe She's growing right on schedule and the doc said that I'll come back probably one more time (?) before she'll be born. So! We'll see. Start child birth classes next Tuesday. That should be fun. It doesn't seem like I'm almost done ALREADY. It's gone so fast!

October 2, 2001-- Had our first child birth class tonight. That was interesting. I thought it was going to be a lot of practice pushing and getting explained how to push and all of that. BUT it wasn't. Which was fine! :) A lot of questions were answered and many people asked them. We were given many packets of information that explained false labor and true labor. I just hope the labor I go through is all real! I don't want to call home and have mom on her way here and poof..."I'm sorry, you're in false labor! You can go home now." LOL oh boy...I won't be happy! :) We'll see when that time comes! :)

October 4, 2001-- Well, I finally got in to see the doc here in town. Whew after the long wait it's about time! Almost 8 months and hard to believe it's gone this fast. It seems like yesterday Lisa was here and I got that phone call! Amazing how time flies when you're having fun! (LOL) I think Tuesday night after hearing tips at the child birth class on how to give baby more room to move, I slept with my butt in the air, baby moved. Well at the appointment, doc checked with the ultrasound and sure enough, those ARE baby's feets kicking the ribs! LOL She's in the perfect position to have a birthday! :) Anytime after one more month is fine by me! :)

Octorber 9, 2001-- Second child birth class tonight. The OB's talked to us along with the guy/people who puts the epidural in. We learned about all of the different drugs we can get. Stuff that we all love to hear about while in labor!! LOL Then the OB came and answered a bunch of our questions. Something that made me feel better about delivering at an Army Hospital is that since I've been seeing the OB clinic the whole time, the day I go into labor, I'll get the OB that is on-call that day instead of the Family Practice doc. I'll at least KNOW the doctor that's delivering me rather than if I wasn't high-risk or seeing 1 of 5 of the OB's from the begining, I'd have a doctor that was on call. And who knows how many of them there are! :) Go to OKC the 22nd and then another apointment here in town the 18th. We'll see!!!!!!!!! :)

Will update everything here when I have the time...........
