June 1, 2001 -- Well, we went to OKC today. Got in at 8:40 when the appointment was at 8:15. What else is new with Doc. appointments right? lol Anyways, Went there for the ultrasound. After waiting for a half hour, I was ready to go to the bathroom. They wouldn't let me!! AH I was about to pee my pants. SO...They did an ultrasound, saw our baby and OHH what a cutie! Just like it's mommy! LOL Baby really doesn't look like a peanut any more. I can see the arms, legs, and distinguish between all of the body parts...except for one little minor detail!! LOL So the nurse was done doing the ultrasound, saw my blatter was good and normal, (i guess that's what she was doing) and she said I could go ahead to the potty and then the doc would be in for an internal ultrasound. They wanted to see the way my organs were all in place and the doctor wanted to make sure baby had all of it's parts! :0) SO. Doc came in, and everyone could see the monitor EXCEPT FOR ME! I was kind of upset at that, but hey, ya can't be happy about everything in life! lol TJ looked really interested in what was to be seen. The doc and nurse were all eyes looking for all of the organs of the baby, and my one kidney.OH yeah, Wanna see our baby???? (click here) After he was done with the ultrasound, I asked him when we would be able to find out the sex of the baby. He said that from what it looks like RIGHT NOW, it's lookin' like we're having a boy. I was like OH BOY OH BOY!! I asked him, "so I can nix all of the dreams I've been having about a girl?" he told me not just yet! lol THEN he tells me that I'm only 13 WEEKS! I thought today I was supposed to be 15!! Oh I was so confused. The doc here in town told me I was 15 weeks on the first, then this one tells me I'm only 13 weeks? GRR!! I figured it out though, I'm 15 weeks by period, but 13 weeks by the circumference of the baby's head. ?? lol I dunno!! ?? LOL I go to the doc here on the 14th. TJ leaves for the field again next week. I get the whole bed to MYSELF! yea!! Although I'll miss him for the appointment, I'll still be going happy as can be. Hope to write more later! (sorry this one was a long one...but lots to write about! LOL)

June 11, 2001 (16 weeks and 3 days)--Well, TJ was in the field again for about 8 days. He was supposed to be back tomorrow but he got home yesterday!! He scared the crap out of me too!! I was here on the computer and all of a sudden the front door busted opened with him carrying all of his TA-50 (Army junk) through the door. I think since he's been gone, my tummy has gotten bigger. Just a little...not much! :) I worked a lot too so I was so exhausted. I feel asleep last night about 6 and woke up about 9. Went back to bed about midnight? It was nice to have him back in the bed with me but I couldn't get comfy! lol (I wonder why? LOL) My appitite lately is weird!! I'm not used to it but I had to work one morning at 7 so before I left here, I ate breakfast, then about 9:30 I was hungry again. Had a bagel. Then about noon I was hungry AGAIN! When I eat, I don't eat much. Just a little snack here and there is good enough for me lately. I don't think I have felt the baby yet either. I thought a couple of weeks ago I did, but lately...*shrugs* I don't know what it's supposed to feel like? So!? Friday I have an appointment at 10am and TJ has one for his shoulder at 1pm. I hope to get another ultrasound for me to add to the page here. Nuff said today.
June 15, 2001--OK...had the appointment today. And when a military doctor says just a check up, they mean just a check up! lol All we did was go in and got some questions answered, heard the baby's heart beat again and was told the new due date was December 7th. GRRR!!! :-P But all is good so far! He told me some of the high risks (again) of my pregnancy and at this time there is a 3% chance of miscarriage. The chance is still there so I'm not putting that totally out of the picture. We got a bunch of samples...diapers, wipes, special offers and coupons. Yippeee!! hehe I was hoping for another ultrasound, but they didn't do one of those today. We'll see our little devil the end of the month in OKC. I think I can wait about 2 more weeks! :) That's when I'll have another pic for sure to show ya'll! Have a good weekend everyone! :)

June 29, 2001--Appointment was at 9:45 in OKC today!! Got there about 9:30. Of COURSE we didn't get in to see the doc. until about 10:45!! He was running WAY behind. But anyways. Saw the little munchkin and OH what a sweetie. (YES I have pictures just hold your horses!!) The lady showed us the head, and baby just kept bobbing it up and down like it was saying, "yes mommie and daddie!! I hear you!!!!" LOL Then the little hand. OHHHH how cute! The cute babe waved to us and everything. The HB was 141 and now I've got some pics to show ya'll!!!

So that's the deal on that! I hope ya'll enjoy the pictures. Baby will be Due at the same time as planned (the second date planned! lol) MAYBE! If she decides to wait that long. Mom, I know one more day won't hurt right? :) Kate, and Abby, A Month early isn't going to do. Baby has to be all the way done!! In the beginning of November, she won't be done! (all the way!!!) lol Night all!! *hugs*
